Safe + Sound Week set for August 11-17

OSHA encourages employers to participate in Safe + Sound Week, an annual event that brings awareness to the importance of workplace safety and health (S&H) programs. This year’s event takes place August 11-17 and focuses on emergency preparedness and response.

Participating in Safe + Sound Week can help organizations start new workplace S&H programs or revise programs that are already in place by using resources, such as printable materials and activity ideas, provided by OSHA and a coalition of other safety agencies. More than 5,000 businesses participated in last year’s event.
